What about a barrel plating system? That way the coating should be even, with no issues on the edges. That means ofcourse the barrel needs to be submerged in the solution and rotated. Not to familiar with the bio compatible plating solutions, but...in MagnetsMarch 2016

Yep, MSDS is your friend, always check them out before messing around with them. You'd be surprised how much you can learn from reading them. Stay away from chromium. That stuff is no good for you. As for phosphate conversion, doesn't ring a bell, but phosphate electro plating is happening everywhere. I'm familiar with zinc phosphate, basically just heat, chemicals and shaking.in Coatings, transdermals, other implantsMarch 2016
