  • I believe they're doing in vivo testing with a few people other than just AlexSmith. I wonder when we can start hearing about how those particular trials are going?
  • I would volunteer myself for testing of course! I'd love to help.
  • $50, hmm. Yeah, that would work for me. Still waiting to see what that actually includes, however. I definitely want the chloroprep. By the way, and this is a bit off topic so I apologize, @Birdhandz I love that name. 'Avio' is from avian, because I love birds.
  • As long as the kit comes with chloroprep, that's all I would really need. I could buy the scalpels and anything else separate. As for the pricing, as soon as you decide on a price and the details for what that price will cover, let me know. I will definitely be buying one if there are any available for me, so I gotta know…
  • I'm pretty positive that I've asked this before, but what was the pricing going to look like?

  • @AlexSmith I sent a message about being added to this list, but I'm not sure how often the messaging system is used here, so I just wanted to post here saying that I'd like to be added to this list.

  • I know what you're saying. A big problem with this is that the magnet in the flesh portion would be attracted to the lower magnet constantly. Over time, this is not good for the skin that would be pinched between the magnet and the prosthetic limb. It would kill that area of skin and then reject, I'd imagine.
  • Any progress to date? I like that we're being thorough with the tests and such, but I'm so excited to get my hands on one. So that I can get one in my hands.
  • Honestly I just want a magnet that is able to be implanted for longer periods of time than around 3 years.
  • Can I get confirmation that the m31 is, if handled correctly during healing, potentially permanent? I mean, I guess because they're not too old yet that there really is no way of knowing for sure, but is there anyone on here that has one in that has had it for years?
  • The amount of rejections is kind of daunting. Are there plenty of people who's magnets stay in long enough to be permanent? Or is it really common for these magnets to reject? Because I was hoping for a long-term thing and reading this thread has me spooked.
  • I know it might be a bit much to ask, and I sincerely hope I'm not being a bother with all of my questions, but how long do you think it'll be before the chemical you're using to test comes in and you are able to start chemically testing the m31's?
  • @AlexSmith Alright, sounds good. I'll wait and try to buy one up as soon as I possibly can. I'm assuming the shipping cost to the US won't be much more than to the UK, but I could be wrong.
  • I just noticed he says $39 up a ways, plus shipping, but I don't know if that still holds true. If it is, I would be able to buy one for sure as well as a prep kit from cyberise.me. However, I have no idea how many of these will be up for sale and as such I would love it if we could reserve one for purchase. If we could…
  • @AlexSmith Is there any rough estimate of when they'll be up to buy? Also, how many will be available and a rough estimate of the pricing? I am way looking forward to getting one of these and if it's going to be really limited supply I just hope I'll have time to pick one up before they're all bought out.
