Purchase date: 3 May 2018 Test date: 7 Aug 2018 Tested with Resene Lead-Based Paint Test Kit (Sodium Sulphide, hydrated 40-45 gms/L) After an hour there was no visible color change. The test paint sample from the kit did turn dark black. Added bonus I now know my very old flat isn't painted with lead paint.

Yeah, it seems like they are falsely claiming standards compliance. Mine definitely is picked up with my phone's nfc reader, so I'd assume it's useless at 134.2khz

I bought some lidocaine but didn't get round to applying it. It was pretty doable, really not that bad. I did go very slowly until the needle was fully in though. I agree, pretty confusing. They also said bits instead of bytes. The packets are labelled as FDX-B compliant like in the video, but you're right that does sound wrong. I don't think this model is listed on the manufacturer's site rfidstar-security.com/

To be honest it's a lot dimmer than I was expecting. Definitely not bright enough to light up a keyhole or anything. I don't have a V1. I think I would have a lot of trouble taking a picture of it. It's either going to be a green blob surrounded by absolute darkness or a picture of my arm with no visible glow. I'm guessing…

Cheers @AlexSmith, worked a charm! I guess it did flip in healing. I didn't try until now since my piercer thought I'd notice if it had flipped (and I didn't want to impact healing).

No light (or not enough to tell for sure) after 25 days. Regretting not testing it in the dark pre-implant. I'm thinking perhaps my unit might be defective. Perhaps a really long exposure picture of my arm in pitch darkness might be able to check whether/where light is emitted.

12 days, just visible enough I can reliability put my finger on it in the dark. Have a pretty identifiable bruise round the implant, and a mild yellow discoloured bruise about the size of my hand. I pushed it a wee bit down my arm and back a few days ago which probably didn't help.

5 days after implanting, I've got a big yellowish bruise and no glow. Guess there's a lot of blood under the skin and I've got a bunch more healing to do.

@thetarn I'm not sure whether it was your standard issue lube, but there was definitely some placed on the tip of the needle during my implantation. No sticking issues
