oof, been a bit since ive been on here. i have not done this project yet, still really want to but i don't have the equipment or the space to do it.
-
cheers!
-
the magnets Cassox is making will go up on augmentationlimitless.com
-
from what i have seen here: do not use the super magnet man magnets for implanting. the coatings are not consistant and often have pinholes. I know Cassox is working on a batch of magnets and I would DM him for a price.

the accessibility thread is about making the world more accessible to people who are disabled or hadicapped. your case has not been brought up, the discussion has been much more general.

updates are on the sci house discord

dude, thats sick! do they all glow?
-
hey robofaust, i am researching researchers who research people who research the grinding comunity. drop me a pm if you would like to be interviewed on this riveting topic. cheers!
-
ok cool! ill pm you so im not spamming this thread.

oh Auglim is your website! i found it metioned in a different thread a while ago as auglim so it took me a bit to find the exact url. But yeah, the struggle of balacing wanting to do cool projects and actually making money from them is real. if i can help in anyway lemme know. i do have some coding experiece, so if auglim…

also do you have a website where you are selling the magnets you just made?

No rush man, take your time. So if the bio glass doent work, would you use the resin method instead? if you do the resin, would you be able to embed megnets in it? i guess that might block some of the light but could be interesting to try. Also wondering if you have tried making the back of the implant refective so that…

@Cassox could i buy some bioglass ones from you as well?
-
I think Cassox is addressing this issue in the "This is what the new magnets are going to look like custom bionics." Basically he is working on making sorta magnet arrays so that there it a higher surface area to compensate for lower nerve density. Im pretty sure that is an accurate representation of his project, but I…

xD, that would be a dream come true!! But no, i was just thinking I would modify the yeast to glow and then if I could culture it in the kombucha it would make the kombucha glow. If anyone has some insite on how I would go about making the yeast or bacteria already in the Kombucha glow, I think that might be easier, but i…
-
I think that I am going to attempt to modify bakers yeast and add that too the kombucha... does that sound plausible at all? Would this make it dangerous to consume if it works?

i have no experience with cancer and very little with VR. However, I do know for a fact that the tech for non-static and realistic VR worlds is 100% a reality. I guess are you asking if the VR experiece could be taylored to decrease the allotic load? Im not exactly sure what allotic load is, but it seems to be related to…

Ahh perfect, thanks! Where would I get ahold of him? Should I dm him here?
-
I would really like to try these out as well, and I can pay.
-
also, are lips/cheeks viable places for magnet implants? id imagine it can get a lot messier as there is no way to use a tourniquet, but im just wondering if it has been done or if there is another reason i haven't seen it mentioned anywhere.
-
thanks, that makes sense! One review on supermagnetman.com said that the TiN coating had about a 60% fail rate after 72hrs of the salt bath test. according to first4magnets.com they can also coat w/ Parylene C…
-
also what is the typical size for a magnet implant? for some reason I was thinking 5mm diameter by 2mm thick.

I am a noob to grinding and new here, so i apologize if this is in the wrong place to post this. I watched this video about a year ago and im still super hyped to get a magnetic implant, so I figured it was time to actually get the ball rolling on this. I have been trying to source magnets as that seems to be the hardest…
