Worthless. I am probably going to remove it and implant one of the n52s I have in the near future. I can only really feel that I even have this implant if I am around a very strong force or use a powerful magnet to move it. The placement of it and possibly even the shape causes it to sting if I grip something tightly with…

I have come to the conclusion that my N-32 rice grain magnet is a failure. I may attempt to put a few more in that finger to see if it has any affect.
-
I'll go in to details later because there are factors that are different on my cylinder implant that make it less comfortable and not nearly as sensitive to forces as my disc shaped Haworth implant. So overall in my experience if you can do a disc shaped, you should.

Do the waves only affect one pole on a magnet? I know half of this implant is under tough scar tissue which may be causing this feeling... When I feel waves it seems like only one end of the implant reacts.
-
You would not be reading it correctly. As of right now I get 4x the distance of feel with my Haworth implant. But there are some factors to consider too. -Haworth implant is in softer, more fleshy part of my finger. As well as close to the surface under the skin. -n52 strength on Haworth versus n32(?) on this implant.…

As of right now I just started being able to feel some stronger waves with this implant. It is a bit higher and off to the side more than I had intended, but it should do it's job. Although my Haworth implant is in softer tissue and a week further in recovery... I notice the waves farther and stronger with this implant. I…

If one does the tunnel technique then it is fairly easy to keep it from coming out. Even with just a bandaid all the time. As long as you keep it clean and don't play/push on it much until it heals a bit. It is the ones closer to the incision that require special attention. But personally I suture all just so I won't have…

Scapel for the skin should work fine. If the bevel is sharp/long enough you shouldn't need one. BUT using a Scapel to cut the skin first may make it slide in through the tissue more smoothly.

It is not easy to implant that small magnet the usual way. At least if you do it yourself.
-
I highly recommend implanting with a 12g needle or RFID applicator. Implanting these like other magnetic implants is such a pain in the ass. The north and south of the magnet is on either end of the cylinder so using tweezers to try and put it in was a disaster. This also makes me worry about the design. I feel disc shaped…

I put one of these in my right ring finger today. Let me tell you, doing this yourself and with your left hand is not easy. To make matters worse trying to insert the magnet in to the hole/tunnel I made was more challenging than threading a needle. I did not have the injection needle of a size that would work. 14g is as…

I'm thinking of implanting one of mine this week. These do react quite a bit to my other implant. I can kind of make one hover slightly by getting close with my finger. They don't have much strength, which is to be expected. But they also aren't n-52s. The point of these is for the sense of touch... So I'm likely going to…

Well then luckily playing with a strong Magnet caused it to raise up. So it is under the skin but not deep in the tissue.

Do it!!

It seems as though it may be a good idea to have the community informed on the projects as they are being done by grindhouse. Like a journal-like update topic for the community to give feedback on during the process to change any possible problems before a release. I personally don't mind the high price tag as you guys…

Well the cut is still there after removal. But I don't think I need to put a new stitch in or anything. I did the cut high abs to the side and make a tunnel to the center of the palm technique. Pushed the magnet down the tunnel through flesh. It shows no signs of trying to move up the tunnel.

I have one stitch in still. I did this Thursday night. Probably going to remove it today. Good to know it just needs to be under the skin, which it is. Thanks!

Just put me down for 100 please. They are cheap enough where I'd rather have plenty extra. Hopefully they work.

Fashionable!

When you planning on implanting one? We'll want details and updates on sensitivity.

I did my first magnet last night. I had purchased one of Steve Haworth's from him and inserted it in my left ring finger. I tried a tourniquet on my forearm at first but this caused more bleeding from the pressure it caused. I soaked my finger in ice with a glove on for 15 mins followed by many injections of bupuvicaine…

I'm in for 50. If we are short meeting our goal you can double my amount to 100.

I know Haworth implants are Au coated. I also know if anyone plans on implanting these in others that Nickel allergy is fairly common. Au quote would be great.

It may be possible that your light headedness wasn't from blood loss. I wouldn't think too much blood would e lost to reall cause this. It may have been panic/anxiety of cutting yourself and bleeding, not to mention the pain. I work in surgery and am very used to these things, yet when I give blood for labs I nearly faint.…

They don't make them with a different plating than nickel do they? I'm allergic to nickel and would worry een

Looks good to me, I'd be interested. I tried taking a DC nerve stimulator with sponges to attempt this. Either my placement was bad or it just won't work as needed. It went up to DC 1.87mA when using 100hz... Still just made my face pull/twitch when I had sponges above left eye and one on right temple.

Just confirming that you received my payment through Paypal.

Yeah, I think I will try a tourniquet on the forearm area and see if that helps. I only worry it will do the opposite and push more blood out. We shall see when my implant arrives. I plan on making a small hole with a scapel followed by pushing a 2.8-4.0mm diameter pointed metal rod through to the area I want the magnet to…

New here. I'd be down for 10 as long as having them shipped to Las Vegas is cool.
