Sorry for my comment then. I just didn't know a reason for the long disappearance. These guys are innovators. I'm looking forward to amal's payment chip.
-
I'm interested in further developments. I'm assuming the inventor didn't like the negative feedback. All kinds of feedback are needed to create.

How is everyone's implants doing?
-
I've had my magnet in for 2 years. Steve did the procedure personally for me.
-
Yup, me to

Thanks. I think if there is a version 3, go back to the v1 platform and reuse the size of the v2 but fill the whole tube with light and keep it un-shielded with no empty space inside the capsule. What does everyone think about that?
-
Anyone else have updates?
-
I would put v1 literally anywhere and not v2 simply because of the size. V2 has no added benefit of any extra brightness, I fail to see v2 as an upgrade. I still believe this is a crazy cool implant and could be improved. I've never heard of anyone getting cancer from these but yet if the unlikely event, the cancer…

That's a interesting location, keep us updated

Holy shit, in the back of your neck!

The dull scalpel was probably the enemy. To implant mine in my hand, it took a bit of force to break the skin in that area so I imagine you would need the same amount of force to cut it open and don't cut on the scar line, a but above or below should work.
-
What kind of new implants are you trying to develop?
-
Your plan should work just fine, that's what I would do. Why the removal?
-
@trybalwolf v1 was tested fully by the maker with posted results, v2 was not. Since I had V1 already implanted I had no reason to think I would be unhappy with v2 because it's supposed to be an upgrade.
-
I have no doubt in saying that the v2 is definitely not as bright as V1. I wish an implant test of the v2 was done prior to being released instead of me being disappointed.
-
That's cool. I wouldn't mind recharging the implant as long as it was incredibly bright. Having something that is always lit up without having to touch it is awesome but just not to the brightest I would prefer.
-
How long did it take to charge and how long does it light up before you need to recharge?
-
@Johnny3D that is awesome. Put some of that in a glass vile and shove it into some meat. Wondering what the results could be.
-
I've had mine in for months so it's fully healed. V2 looks like it was rushed. It has shit quality compared to V1. I'm half tempted to take it out, that's how disappointed I am with it.
-
V2 is not brighter than V1. For my opinion v2 is a total let down, there are so many negatives. I would not call it an upgrade.
-
That's the same spot I have my v2 in also. I have V1 in the other hand in the same place. Does the clicking bother you when you move your hand?
-
It'll take at least a few days to be able to see the light. Where did you put it?
-
Any updates from anyone?
-
I shined a laser pointer thru it, I wish it was this bright
-
@Zerbula that's exactly what I was thinking
-
My v2 in my hand is not noticeably brighter than the V1. A side my side yields the same results. Still awesome, but also a bit of a let down. In my opinion, V1 blows v2 out of the water in many ways.
-
Anyone else that implanted v2 have updates?
-
That was definitely an interesting read.
-
If I had any skills in this field I would dedicate a lot of time because I set my own schedule. The most I can offer is my body to implant new tech for research. I don't know how else I could be more involved.
-
I have V1 in left and v2 in right hand. I see the side by side comparison. It's been a month since install. On paper v2 should blow v1 outta the water but it doesn't, not even close. That's why I'm upset and hugely dissatisfied. I've also had my friends opinions and they agree with me as they look at the brightness of the…
