  • I think that is a pretty cool idea if you can pull it off, and honestly, I think it is a lot more feasible than a lot of the other ideas floating around on this forum :)
  • Hey! Living in Amsterdam, there is some cool biohacking in the city.
  • Nope, I had it done by a guy name John Garcia when I was living in San Francisco. If you are interested, you could email Samppa Von Cyborg([email protected]). He often travels, so you can set up an appointment for the next time he is in NL. Another option is Tom van Oudenaarden in Utrecht. His…
  • Hey @fistfull95, ik woon in Amsterdam. I'm a programmer and have never had an issue with my magnetic implant, and I've had it for 3 years now. Sometimes it messes up shitty hotel room keys, but that is about it. I'm not even sure it is caused by the implant, but I'd like to believe it :)
  • I'm sure that a lot of other people feel the same way, so I'm just gonna say it. Thanks for making this open to all of us! You guys are really making it easier for those of us who don't have the know-how, and I really appreciate all the work you guys have put into it.
  • That was an awesome read, thank you unqualified. I'm fairly new to this scene so I guess I'm just not aware of all the stuff out there yet. In case anyone else hasn't read this paper yet, I would highly recommend it! http://www.scribd.com/doc/60163195/A-Novel-Human-Machine-Interface-Using-Subdermal-Magnetic-ImplantsI…
  • What I was thinking was that it would be easy to utilize the idea of neural plasticity in combination with a magnetic implant. They seem great for sensing magnetic fields and whatnot, but why not wear a device that can induce vibrations in the implant through electro-magnetism in the same way that headphones work. if you…
  • Cool! Thanks for taking the time to respond. I didn't at all mean to sound like I was looking down on the way people are going about doing this. I guess more what I'm saying is that there is no harm to following the scientific method. You can still be a "hacker" on the bleeding(pun intended) edge of transhuminism, but that…
  • Arduinos are great because they allow you to rapidly prototype electronics. They shouldn't be used in production environments because there is just a ton of wasted space.
  • Hey, could I get 20 of these? I can pay with BTC or Paypal. Edit: Got really excited and didn't read the entire thread. Does anyone have extra from this order they would sell?
