I really hope so. I'll keep an eye on it.

Yes, I'm aware of the fact that gold is hard to get done right, but If you bought 100 or so you would probably be left with at least a couple of good ones after testing them. And they aren't even that expensive. You can get 100 for $11. That seems like a reasonable price to me. And they also have 1.5 mm x 0.75 mm ones if…

@niilohlin No. They never responded to the email.

@McSTUFF My main use for now will just be unlocking my phone, storing my contact info (or something similar; possibly even an encrypted bitcoin wallet) and unlocking my computer. So I assume that both placements would be equally effective. @trybalwolf 1. So you mean implant it after the blood vessel or just approach from…

Yes, I just sent them am email asking them about the coating they use. I'll post it here when they answer.

What do you mean @mmuyskens? EDIT: If you mean that the coating might be a mixture of Ni, Cu and Au and not just pure gold I don't think that's the case. Because looking at other coatings they have some metals written twice. For example Nickel coating -> Ni + Cu + Ni. Which makes me believe The magnets have 3 layers; 1. Ni…

@JohnDoe Sounds very interesting! How much progress have you made?

@ThomasEgi I agree, piggybacking would be way easier. I've also read the thread you linked me. It looks very interesting and I might even try it myself.

@actii I'm sorry if this has been discussed before. I've read about 2 or 3 pages worth of threads.... Some of them 200+ posts long... But I'm pretty new to this forum (and biohacking), so catching up is a bit of a challenge for me. But I'll definitely try to read as much as possible. @Meanderpaul Yeah, looks like he…

@AlexSmith as far as I can tell the test magnets have been sent out a couple of months ago. Any information from the testers yet? EDIT: Also, would there be lidocaine (or some other anesthetic) included in the "full" bundle (with the magnet, scalpel, etc.)? Because honestly I don't really want to feel (much) of the pain.…

Alright, thanks I'll keep that in mind. It might be a while before I build anything anyways because as I said I'm very new to this kind of stuff and I still need to get my first implant done. And as my first time I'm definitely not building it myself.
