Very interesting, can you give a little more info? Maybe I missed the post discussing the NorthStar,but this is the first I've heard of it. How big is it? What's the expected lifetime? Any idea how bright it will be under the skin? Price / size? Regardless - email sent :)

Honestly I'm not trying to beat the system. I just want to get out of carting around an extra card - and would love to be able to just wave my hand to get on the Bart. Hacking cards properly would be interesting, but not really the point here.

I'm keen to give this a shot as well. I would love to be able to get a bay area clipper card into an implantable state. From what I understand it has some sort of encryption that keeps it from being cloned.

Yea, we got more momentum in the past 6 months than in the previous year. The scene had honestly stagnated for a while and now there are a dozen active projects. Bummer to hear you guys are going separate ways, but your energy really helped light a fire in the community.

I'm also looking at about a staples worth of strength from the m31 - non autoclaved. However, I think it may have been implanted too deep and that's the issue for me.
