  • I know that this is very late, but I want to go ahead and add in my little bit of knowledge. A cousin of mine who is a fire fighter simply suggest using butterfly bandages and maintaining the wound. It leaves a lot less scaring than stiches or staples, and whenever it is safe to do so we just use them instead. It has…
  • I am just going to say that it is definitely not fixed. I am really beginning to think that it is time to archive everything and just move to a new site and then post the archives.
  • @BirdMachine Thank you so much, it is pretty much the only drawing that I have ever done and been really happy with. And as an alternative why not use modified welding goggles. You really can't see anything out of them (other than what you are welding because of the sparks) and some models even have interchangeable lenses.
  • Yeah I noticed that a while ago, I think that it is time for everyone to start moving the site to a new place; because everyone that has said anything on the matter talks about how messed up the website is in general. I would suggest maybe Google Sites just for ease and how there is an existing way to make a forum with it…
  • North Georgia here, I think it would be great if there were more events that are located on the east coast. Or even just meeting for stuff like the next Grindfest and conecting via skype or google hangouts. And then getting one or two of us who can do implants and stuff like that.
  • Thank you, please tell us how it works out.
  • Going way back up in the thread why don't we start using magnetic shielding, even weak shielding as a part of the healing process for magnets. Wouldn't it decrease the chance of rejection even at the cost of a bit of awkwardness for a couple of weeks. I would love to see some experimenting done with it to see if it is…
  • For those of you running android if you go into /settings/security there may be an option there called smart lock (this depends on which version of Android you are using, and phone) which has nfc unlocking as a built in option (it is under trusted devices).
  • Jeez, I was hoping for Cassox, Chinorex and maybe a couple other replies but not this many. If possible I would love to see if we could maybe get a group call going and see if I can get an extension on the time limit for the podcast and do something a bit longer if you guys are up for it. So I will PM most of you guys and…
  • I might be able to go, it is only a 30 hour drive and I might be able to get some of my friends to go with me just because of the cognitive performance nootropics.Edit: Nevermind, no chance of going despite how well it works out with my schedule.
  • Thank you to the both of you! I will likely contact you guys within the next couple of days and figure out the best time to go through with the interview.
  • I don't feel like it is creepy, but rather unnecessary. I think a counter could be quite useful or interesting though. If we got a chat function I think it would be quite useful though.
  • I, personally would love some kind of counter as to how many accounts there are on the site, and how many people are active.
  • Yeah I am lucky not to have to wear contacts or glasses, but I heard about a type of them that you could leave in overnight safely. I don't remember the name if I can find it later I will throw a link to it in the comments.
  • Thanks, I just realized that I am a tad bit late.
  • Just finished the Emergency protocols page. It needs ot be spell checked and grammar checked.
  • What about completely light blocking contact lenses that your can wear to bed, less risks and should have a similar result.
  • Also, I will add some stuff to the emergency protocols page, I am a boy scout and have plenty of guides on different methods that I will refer to whilst writing the page.
  • I just did some basic capitalization and diction to create a slightly more professional feel. When I arrive back home (I am working from mobile right now) I will fix the tone, mood, and grammar for some of the other pages.
  • Thank you for that, I was thinking of the cauterization used in surgery and while watching the video realized my huge mistake in thought.
  • Oh ok, I thought of using some thing like a fid to fuse the entire hole closed and prevent infection.
  • Thank you guys for confirming what I was worried about.
