Just saw amal post this on Twitter and I'm super excited for it. Just in time for my birthday too. They seem kind of large though. 2.8x4.5mm? Feel like I might as well implant a shotgun slug. DAE have experience with implanting large magnets? I've only done the M31s.

I'm back from the dead. I implanted around 13-14ish. First one rejected because I cut at around 90 degrees instead of 45. Second one was coming along nicely and got completely healed. I did not autoclave my magnets. I used m31's. The scalpel method. Soaked the magnets in chlorahexidene for 30 minutes. On a side note my index finger might be starting to reject; its developing the same traits as my ring finger. At first I thought it was residual bruising but it's turning slightly lumpy.

Thought I might share my story for future implanters researching. I implanted 2 magnets around the 22nd, one in the index adjacent to the thumb, and one in the ring adjacent to the pinkie. Sorry I haven't responded, been on vacation. Turns out it wasn't a scab but instead it was my magnet through some very thin and clear tissue. Anyway, I foolishly didn't suture when I implanted and the magnet came out. Going to implant on another finger with sutures this time.
