Anyone going to the montreal hackathon (WearHacks) this weekend? Possible new implant ideas ...?

I just found out about it today and it's sold out, so I won't be attending. As I understand it some companies provide new tech and see what people can apply it to over a weekend. Their projects are for wearable devices, but maybe it'll spark some ideas for possible future implants.
Here are links to a few of the more interesting devices. Most use low power bluetooth. Unfortunately some of them are a little vague on the details.
https://www.mbientlab.com/ (accelerometer, temp, LEDs, vibration motor etc)
https://hellonod.com/ (motion detector)
http://devicefactory.com/df1/ (another accelerometer)
A bunch of the proposed projects are here: http://wearhacks.sparkboard.com/
