Haworth quality/crack/danger

Hey
just got a Steve Haworth sensing magnet
it has this crack/seam in it
It would be unwise to implant this right?

watch out for this I guess (maybe shipping in a padded envelope wasn't a good idea)

Comments

  • I wouldn't implant it, at least without running a decently-long saline test.

  • I wouldn't trust that magnet even with a saline test.

  • Frankly, I wouldn't trust any magnet at the moment except maybe the glass coated one dangerous things has, but I especially wouldn't trust one with visible coating damage.

  • Stick it under a dissecting microscope. It could be as simple as a manufacturing mark on the magnet. I'm sure Haworth would replace it for you.
  • he is shipping me a replacement (before I return mine).
