The biohack.me forums were originally run on Vanilla and ran from January 2011 to July 2024. They are preserved here as a read-only archive. If you had an account on the forums and are in the archive and wish to have either your posts anonymized or removed entirely, email us and let us know.

While we are no longer running Vanilla, Patreon badges are still being awarded, and shoutout forum posts are being created, because this is done directly in the database via an automated task.

  9. @Meanderpaul it got massively spammed, I'm stuck on how to delete the current set of spammer accounts but otherwise have reversed the damage.

  10. @cyberlass what about a complete wipe of all accounts? After this I kinda feel like it should be more restricted on who can edit it to prevent bad information and spam.

    I am a SF writer, non-fiction writer, and Journal-style writer. I can review, proofread, and edit for hire.

    I also am a do-it-yourself person (DIY) and have done a number of small home improvement and personal assistance projects to make life easier. I use my needle arts work to make crocheted utility items like a sling mug caddy and a dinner plate carrier in addition to crocheting blankets, afghans, and scarves and more.

    I have picked up a lot of information over the decades, and I like to think about how to use tools and materials common to one activity in my project of unusual construction.
