Good news!  Thanks to a good friend Ian's perseverance we were able to get into contact with Kevin Warwick - and he is willing to help us with technical information!  An informal proposal will be drafted and sent to Professor Warwick (a formal version will be drafted up at a later date).  Between today and Sunday,  December 4th, come into the mumble to voice your opinion on the matter.
