I'm sure most of you have seen the bricks and whatnot made from mycelium. From what I understand, the most common fungi used for this is reiki mushroom. After innoculation and growth they bake the block to kill the mushroom.

Has anyone actually done it though? The grindfest dome was successfully funded by group funding. You guys are awesome.. I have like an extra year though so the dome can be a more complicated thing. Any ideas? I'd love to incorporate some materials such as this.
