Sterilization with alchohol?

Alright, maybe I’m just stupid, but in the video by the thought emporium they used chlorohexamine solution as the disinfectant, Would it be possible to use alcohol? Like, standard, medical grade alcohol? I will be implanting a magnet soon, and I have bought sterile scalpels and syringes, but the tweezers are not sterile. Would I be able To do it?

  1. If you're looking to chemically sterilize your instruments, something like barbicide would be better. Alcohol doesn't do anything for spores. Autoclaving is better. I'll pm you back later today.

  2. Clorihexidine is really more of a topical antiseptic not a sterilant. It's definitely better then alcohol.
