The biohack.me forums were originally run on Vanilla and ran from January 2011 to July 2024. They are preserved here as a read-only archive. If you had an account on the forums and are in the archive and wish to have either your posts anonymized or removed entirely, email us and let us know.

While we are no longer running Vanilla, Patreon badges are still being awarded, and shoutout forum posts are being created, because this is done directly in the database via an automated task.

Getting Started

I am a teenage male, still yet to develop physically (I haven't gotten thick facial hair/chest hair yet). Because of this, I realized that I have immense biohacking potential, because I can try things that fully developed adults cannot. However, I know nothing more about biology than I was taught in 9th grade. What are some concepts to learn, fields to learn more about, good books to read, etc. if I want to get into biohacking. I would obviously need to know about molecular biology and biopharmaceutics. I am thinking of staying away from implants and mostly aiming for other biohacks. Thanks!
