The biohack.me forums were originally run on Vanilla and ran from January 2011 to July 2024. They are preserved here as a read-only archive. If you had an account on the forums and are in the archive and wish to have either your posts anonymized or removed entirely, email us and let us know.

While we are no longer running Vanilla, Patreon badges are still being awarded, and shoutout forum posts are being created, because this is done directly in the database via an automated task.

Surface implants

I was wondering if anyone had ever tried or is willing to try A new type of procedure which I'm not sure is even currently possible
WARNING: This is a high-risk idea if your body rejects this, various things could happen but I'm not completely sure of all the multifarious effects it could have on the body
ok here I go The idea itself is really simple so an upcoming body is scarification during which the skin from one desired part of the body is removed exposing the flesh now I propose that instead of letting the body from thick scar tissue over it that you place bioelectronics on the site so that the UI is still accessible the hope is that after healing it very slightly resembles a fresh tattoo slightly raised but not extremely raised like Northstar
PS: This idea is very open to suggestions such as 3d printing on the hypodermis and then putting the implant on
