Updates: hows it coming guys?

So i haven't been around for a while, been super busy with life. I want to hear how the Bluetooth implant is coming. has it gotten any smaller? And hows the sound quality on it?
And the Northstar! Can i just say how proud of you guys i was when that was finally released? Good job guys. Hows the software coming on that? I heard rumors of being able to possibly pay money with it one day?? when it gets to that point and smaller that a nickle (pref. to dime-sized), ill definitely be adding that to my "to implant" list.
Also, does anyone have any comments on the whole bar code/Q code tatts idea? Anyone use it for something other than ID? How well do phones scan them? Thanks guys!

  2. well THATS informative/sarc. lol @johndoe
  3. From one little corner of the of the forum @AlexSmith has made a prototype of a new type of NFC tag. These are flexible and have a significantly better read distance!
  4. OOooOOhh, that sounds like fun. @chrisbot  @AlexSmith is that with a silicone body?
  5. Haha didn't mean to come off as sarcastic.... We make progress here just slowly....
  6. Thats ok haha. I figured you guys were making progress, i just wanted to know what progress where. @JohnDoe
  7. @EmberErikson, I believe the plastic itself is (biosafe?) PTFE and then it was coated in silicone too. @AlexSmith is the mastermind so he could probably confirm
  8. @EmberErikson yeah, ChrisBot is correct. PTFE with outer coat of silicone. I'm not very confident in the coating done by they manufacturer, but the outer silicone coating should be enough protection by itself.
