Supplementing Tissue Recovery

Just in the interest of curiosity, are these established methods, chemicals, exercises, specific procedures or techniques to have a beneficial effect in forcing/aiding the body to heal damage inflicted to it?

I know this is a broad question with perhaps huge lists of answers because of variables, but if it came into a nature of a person very regularly exposed to mild or moderate scale injury (large amounts of cuts, burns, bruising, muscular damage or fatigue, stress of physical tissue in general), advantageous practices, anyone?

Are there specific sets of proteins or vitamins that contribute directly towards promoting injury healing, does stimulating the immune system or perhaps simply exercise promote superficial healing, perhaps.

  1. Absolutely. There is a ton of research on supplements and wound healing. Things like vitamin C are actually prescribed specifically for this purpose.
