Medical Alert/ID Tags?
Has anybody put implant information (like type/location) on medical alert tags in case of emergencies? I know people with medical implants like pacemakers sometimes do this to assist emergency personnel, and I was thinking about getting one myself since I recently had a very close call and want to be prepared. Is there any preferred nomenclature or formatting I should be aware of (maybe someone here with current EMS info can help)?

I have a medicalert tag with cryonics info on it, if you want one with information about implants then just put stuff like "RFID tag in right hand" or whatever on it.That said, small implants like RFID tags and magnets don't need to go on medicalert tags.

For emergency RFID application, now hospital medical staff were equipped with RFID Tag. The long Range UHF RFID integrated reader is controlled by UHF , if an emergency situation occurs, you can press the button, the system will automatically lock your position, and notify the relevant personnel to provide assistance. Once the signal is given, it will send out alarm to inform other staff when an emergency situation occurs. So i think you can implant RFID tags and portable long range wireless bluetooth RFID card reader, such as SYNCOTEK SR-HU-601R,Hope it could help you.Jen baker
