Pseudo-transdermal idea

An idea has been floating around in my head for a while for creating a "pseudo" transdermal device.

Essentially, get a standard surface piercing with a large gauge needle and put PTFE tube through it, seal one end, leave the other end open and put your implant into the open end.

Thoughts?

  1. Defeats the purpose of being transdermal, since piercings heal around whatever you inject. It's just the same as if you were to set the tube on top of someone's skin.
