  • @ChilliEye I think wrist is _possible_ if you had a really good implanter/surgeon, but I'd avoid it if possible. FYI I have cases in shipping to me this week, so if all goes well I'll have pictures of v2 demo units up next week.
  • Mind posting picture of the reader? Most Indala readers are able to read the small implants fine, but I did come across one older system that didn't, I'd like to check if it's the same type. If you can read it with a proxmark3, it's probably not that deep.
  • I agree with what others have said, it's almost certainly just bruising, around 3 days after every implant I've had done, the area becomes slightly yellow, this lasts for about a week. It's normal and nothing to worry about.
  • @Zerbula Yes, reflective backing. It only makes a very tiny difference to light, but I want to make the best implant I can. Also a layer of lead to completely block any radiation that may make it through the lead glass. @ChilliEye I'd say around two weeks to get it in the UK. I've PM'd you about the magnet.
  • @ChilliEye Cost to make v2 is a little more, the larger tritium vial costs a bit more, the flat glass is slightly more than the round tubes, adding a parylene coating will cost something. While I won't be changing the profit margin on the implants, I will pass on the extra cost of making them. I expect about $10-$20 more…
  • I'm really sorry I haven't been on the forum lately, A lot of stuff happened, I had to move to a different city, there was chistmas, and then the bodyhacking con. I haven't been here in months and yes, some orders got delayed, but everything has shipped as of Jan 30th, if you still haven't got your stuff, PM me so I can…
  • @Rocco8620 I can't speak for either Dangerous Things or Saampa Von Cyborg, but I can answer any questions about the cyberise.me.I put a lot of effort into making sure the implants are safe, and only accept money for them once I am confident they are safe. Any implant that I'm not sure about yet is given away for free to…
  • I'd like to input from others. The Magic implant mentioned in the first post has been working out quite well. I've been trying to expand this beyond just Mifare Classic 1k, I have some Magic Mifare Classic 4k, Magic Mifare Ultralight, and Magic Mifare Ultralight C chips I've been trying to make implants with. But I hit a…
  • I've thought about dental implants in the past, but never taken it beyond that. Aside from actually making the teeth replacements you want, the hard part may be finding a dentist willing to install them, but it should be possible. I was thinking about having a row of tritium teeth with the back side being a kind of flip up…
  • I assume proxmark3 is out of your price range, but it has by far the best support for different types of NFC and RFID tags. If you can find someone near you with a proxmark3, you could get them to scan the card.... if if you could spare it for a couple of weeks over the holidays you could send it to me and I'll scan it.
  • @c00p3r yes, that was the what I was going for, and it is partly supported in the currently setup, this reader has bluetooth and an Android app which lets you read the implant's temperature at a user defined interval. There isn't way to graph it over time, but the source code for the app is on github, so it shouldn't be…
  • I'm no doctor, so I don't know about the anatomy of the face, but if I were doing it, I'd go for a placement similar to this, but maybe a bit lower
  • @Xaion27 Yes, you're right about a radiation source within the body being more dangerous than one outside because they are not blocked by the skin.I consider the amount of radiation from the Fireflies to be so small as to not worry about, even taking into account that it's implanted, but you should do your own research.…
  • Just caught up on this thread. I don't want to encourage the use of super glue as an implant coating, _but_ it's not the _worst_ thing out there. I'd never use it myself, but it is used in place of sutures in some situations. If done well it would probably protect an implant a for a limited time, though still reject…
  • @ChrisBot some people have already got their's, but last I heard they were still waiting on their piercer to get it implanted. Some are still waiting for their's to arrive. @misslitty, MTS, Tatanka, 3DP_me, kirbyglover, cchrisp, Chase561, IAmGroot Added to the notification list. While waiting for test results from the…
  • Yeah, check the status thread http://forum.biohack.me/discussion/1569/magnet-status
  • I'll ship anywhere, the address/country is not a problem, the problem is making sure the magnets are safe, see the sticky status thread for the current testing status http://forum.biohack.me/discussion/1569/magnet-status
  • Indala and HID Proximity are both cards which can be copied to your implant, yay. Also these types of cards can't be "protected" so you will definitely be able to read them, which is good. But Indala and HID Proximity are "proprietary" formats, while they have been reverse engineered and are now public, there is not as…
  • @MTS thanks @mrPixels added.
  • @NLmax is correct, copying another card will update the format, at which point you should be able to read it with the linked reader (once you get the driver sorted out)
  • Sorry I never replied to this thread, I've been updating the sticky thread, see here http://forum.biohack.me/discussion/1569/magnet-status The very sort TL;DR version is I've tested one of the magnets by implanting in it myself, with good results, I've sent out a few trial magnets for other people to test. If they have…
  • Ok, yeah, it sounds like you have driver trouble with the reader. _but_ once you do get it running you probably won't be able to read it with that reader until it's formatted. i.e. it's currently formatted as FDX-A, which I don't think the reader will support, you'd first need to write it once to change the format.
  • @Meanderpaul What chip are you trying to read/write with it?
  • Oh yeah, sorry I'm starting to catch up on the backlog of threads. I just read it now, I'll comment in that thread as to no derail this one.
  • @NLmax no worries :) Sorry it took so long for me to get to replying, I'm currently moving house so have not been on the forums much, but that's going to change once I get set up at the new place. @RobHPlus I'm not sure what Amal's testing involves, in my case I do a write of the chip and read back the contents to make…
  • @lordfeng as others have said, it doesn't change up like glow in the dark stickers, it glows continuously for many years. @SurvivorSVN They are very heat resistant, very high temperatures are used to close the glass capsule, and they are autoclaved to sterilize them at 135C. The implant would be fine even if your blood…
  • @hardrockhippie, yegdiltoille added to the notification list. I've send out some magnets for people to test in-vivo. I've chosen people I know have more past experience with implants.
  • @Wikitiki33 I think it looks fine, there are microscopic differences in coating which make it look slightly different in places, but once the coating starts to fail it is normally very obvious, see the pic of a failed coating earlier in this thread. @TheDiabeticGM I think the first in vivo test was a success, so it's time…
  • Ok, heres the longer version, yesterday afternoon I used one of the "magnet implant kits" cassox made up to cut the magnet out of my arm, it had been 30 days since it was implanted and there was no external signs of rejections. Color was normal and there was no pain even when pushing hard on the magnet. I used some ice on…
  • I'll write a longer post tomorrow, but here is a picture of the magnet I just removed from my arm:
